Her Story
On June 7, 2015 I officially met Floyd Elliott. We had our first lunch date on June 9, 2015 at Robust Restaurant. We had such a good conversation that we barely touched our food, which is a rarity for me.
One date became two then three and so on, I began to realize that this thing was getting serious. So I prayed about our relationship and my answer came with a wedding proposal on September 9, 2015 when Floyd Elliott asked me to be his wife. And I said yes and now our journey begins.
His Story
Upon returning to St. Louis I was lead to return to my former church home West Side Missionary Baptist Church and joined the usher ministry. While on the front door I noticed a certain young lady who seemed to have everything in place. The glow, the look, the spirit of God that only a woman of God can possess and it was very eye catching. It took awhile and some courage so I prayed about meeting her.
My prayers were answered I finally made myself, and my intentions known after much flirting and a lot of subliminal messages. We finally agreed to have lunch, lunch led to dinner, dinner led to movies and time spent. We started to grow in the spirit of God and in our new found attraction for one another. Spring comes, love was in the air and the rest is yet to come. So hold on Marsha Cockell and enjoy this because the Best is Yet to Come!!!
